JEFF
BALLABON

Jeff Ballabon, founder and director of JLDF, is senior counsel for government and international affairs at the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), where he works with a global team of lawyers and diplomats defending religious liberties and free speech, representing the interests of the State of Israel at the International Criminal Court, the United Nations, and the European Union, representing victims of antisemitism and religious bigotry, protecting victims of BDS, and working with governments to fight religious discrimination and to pass and enforce anti-BDS laws.

 

In addition to his legal work, Jeff is CEO of Ballabon Public Affairs and B2 Strategic and has headed the communications and public policy departments of major media corporations including CBS News, KKR’s Primedia, and Time Warner and NBC’s Court TV. 

 

Jeff has successfully represented American victims of Palestinian terror before the White House, State Department, Justice Department and Congress. With ACLJ, he successfully defended the Gush Etzion Foundation against a $34.5 billion lawfare litigation in US federal court that alleged genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. 

 

A graduate of Yale Law School, Ner Israel Rabbinical College, and Yeshiva University, Jeff served as Counsel to the United States Senate Commerce Committee and Legislative Counsel to Senator John Danforth. He has twice been a Presidential Appointee and been awarded two Certificates of Distinguished Service from the US Senate. He has been named one of the 50 “Most Influential” Jews in America.
